Beniamino Bufano was an Italian sculptor whose work often featured modernist takes on animals and other smooth shapes. He often worked using ceramics, stainless steel, or mosaics -- often combining several of these elements together into mixed media pieces.

Beniamino Bufano’s brown granite sculptures of, respectively, a seal and a frog were completed in 1942 with the help of FAP funds. They are available for view on the bayside exterior porch.
